If you are just beginning your journey with essential oils, lavender is the perfect oil to start with! It is considered to be one of the safest oils for both children and adults. It is easily paired with other oils to create beautiful, floral scents as well as promoting mental clarity and relaxation. Lavender is also effective in reducing skin irritations, reducing fevers, and it aids in a restful night's sleep.
Lavender essential oil is considered to be one of the most versatile essential oils that you can buy. The use of lavender essential oil dates back 2500 years. The ancient Egyptians used the oil for mummification and perfume while the Romans used it to cook, as well as to scent their soaps and soothe their skin. They also recognized it for its antiseptic and medicinal properties. It is referenced Biblically as a holy herb and was used in temples.
Aura Cacia prides themselves with the purity and quality of their essential oils. Their lavender essential oil is sustainably sourced from Bulgaria and harvested annually from the flowers, leaves, and stems of new growth.
